They dont have any commitment to help. Why are you playing games with people who have put their hard earned money into your services!? So if your dying or dead and have the "trip protection" good luck with that you have to argue with the insurance company.
I cancelled my reservation with the hotel for that night because I was obviously not going to make it. We contacted the hotel they said they ll not charge us if we cancel reservatiin. When I called back to inquire on how long it would take to show up on my bank account.
I noticed that my airport was in Nassau Bahamas and my hotel was in Exuma. Flight is not scheduled until end of April but yet they will not refund your money even if you cancel prior to departure. Spoke with 2 reps who played the blame game and directed me toward American Airline who I later contacted and spoke with 2 more reps and a manager.
A few days later, I thought it would be a good idea to book transportation to the hotel, a shuttle, a car rental etc.
All in all Expedia is dwindling people. That airport should never been a choice for me to pick and then the wrong information was absurd. After I was placed on hold like for an hour. They still charged me and will not give me a refund. I called Expedia who explained to me that night, mind you 2 hours on the phone with them.
The lady said she will call back and never called. Never again will I book through Expedia. They were first of all not clear. The agent told me not to worry.
Never using them again. Airlines are definitely more accommodating directly then Expedia is. I want to cancel it but I dont know how to cancel. Please let me know by when can I expect the refund to hit my account.
I have been trying to get Expedia to refund my money and I am yet to get a response to my mails. I cancelled my hotel rooms almost a week before and it said you can cancel 24 hrs and not be charged due to hurricane Irma.
We were in rooms and I took it upon myself to reach out to the hotel to confirm that they would be picking us up and the hotel immediately told us that transportation would be waiting for us in the airport. But Expedia refused to refund us for that night.
